Born and raised in Sunderland, Josh faced challenges early on. He saw first hand the struggles that shaped his determination to create a better future.

His first taste of business came in secondary school, where he sold snacks to classmates, hinting at the entrepreneurial spirit that would guide him later.

Josh pursued a carpentry apprenticeship, enjoying hands-on work and even becoming an Advanced PADI scuba diver, always up for an adventure. But when the global financial crisis hit, Josh found himself out of work. Instead of giving up, he joined the Prince’s Trust program, sharpening his business skills and setting the stage for his future success.

Integrity has always been central to Josh’s journey. After a brief stint in sales, where he walked away from a company over unethical practices, he joined the energy sector at corporate blue chip business. There, he quickly rose through the ranks, managing significant projects and leading a large team. However, the corporate world wasn’t his final destination.

When redundancy came after 12 years, Josh saw it as an opportunity rather than a setback. While supporting his family through tough times, Josh stayed resilient. He took on personal challenges like the Great North Run and cycling the coast-to-coast, raising funds for charity along the way.

With a passion for construction and property, Josh furthered his education, becoming CPD certified in the property industry. Seeing and knowing the potential in Sunderland’s revitalisation, he launched his own property business. His early experiences, challenges, and leadership skills from the corporate world all played a part in his success.

Today, Josh’s property ventures are thriving, but his journey is about more than financial success. It’s a story of grit, integrity, and determination. With plans to give back to the Sunderland and the wider North East communities, Josh’s journey continues, inspiring others to overcome challenges and forge their own path.
